Mine Manager

• Lead and manage all open cast mining operations to achieve production and safety targets.
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act, environmental standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor mine plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate the workforce, including contractors, to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee maintenance of mining equipment, ensuring maximum availability and efficiency.
• Monitor production data, costs, and performance, and report on progress to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, productivity, and cost control.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and local communities.

• Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Open Cast).
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in open cast mining, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of mining legislation, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Proven track record in achieving production and cost targets in large-scale mining operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
