- Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Transport Management related tertiary qualification.
- Post graduate degree advantageous.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the transport industry with proven 3 years Senior Management exposure.
- Astute and seasoned operational and financial strategist.
- Exceptional knowledge regarding materials handling, including; forklift, tie down and Hazchem operations.
- Direct and coordinates the company’s operational functions.
- Analyse all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products and supplies.
- Direct inbound and outbound logistics operation, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, and quality management.
- Analyse the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes and mixes, and 3rd party carriers.
- Assist in developing and managing the operations budgets.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience to Balance Sheet level.
- Strong integrity, ethics and professionalism.
- Experience with Xero or Pastel accounting software.
- Proven bookkeeping background.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Skilled in data analysis and statistical reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present and explain financial reports clearly.
- Manage full accounting function through to Balance Sheet.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams.
- Develop finance policies aligned with operational needs.
- Prepare accurate financial reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and manage subsidiary ledgers.
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation.
- Conduct secure and confidential banking transactions.
