To take responsibility for the collection of linen from Nursing Wards/Units, for the sorting and counting of linen, for receiving the linen and for the distribution of linen between the laundry and the Nursing Wards/Units once the linen has been cleaned/delivered. Linen includes, amongst other items, sheets, blankets, pillowcases, patient and theatre garments. In addition the incumbent is responsible for delivering the laundry service in accordance with Nursing unit requirements, to ensure that the linen is in a clean and hygienic condition, to continuously monitor and check the quality of the linen stock and that linen stock count is in accordance with the linen stock on hand.Requirements:

Grade 12 or similar level of education essential.
0 – 1 years’ related laundry / administration experience
