Our client requires the services of an intermediate Scrum Master with Telecoms industry experience dedicated to building innovative, future-focused digital products. This is an opportunity to be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of technology across Africa.The Scrum Master will guide and coach agile teams on frameworks, methodologies, and ceremonies, ensuring a continuous and efficient flow of work. You will play a key role in enabling collaboration, removing obstacles, and driving agile maturity.Working Model
- Contract role for 14 weeks -
- Availability: Immediate or within 15 days
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Develop and coach teams on Agile values, principles, and practices
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote team collaboration
- Remove impediments and prevent distractions to improve delivery
- Foster a self-organising team culture and support continuous improvement
- Coach new and existing teams, adapting methods where needed in complex contexts
- Work with stakeholders to establish lean-agile governance processes
- Collaborate with other Agile Practitioners to advance agile maturity across the organisation
- Contribute to learning materials and promote a growth mindset within the practice
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
- 6-8 years' experience in software development or working closely with development teams
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent agile certification
- Strong coaching and mentoring ability
- Skilled in organisational change, conflict resolution, and facilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
