
GRV Clerk and Administrator (Goods Receiving)

- Spar retail supermarket experience (essential).
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of GRV processing, supplier reconciliations, and stock administration.
- Proficiency in Pastel Accounting or similar systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Own Transport
- Tertiary qualification in Administration, – Advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Capture and reconcile supplier invoices against GRVs (Goods Received Vouchers).
- Monitor and maintain accurate gross profit margins, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery notes, invoice queries, and credit requests.
- Verify stock pricing, quantities, and returns to support stock control.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and financial documentation.
- Support management with operational and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
