We are looking for an Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team, based in Plankenbrug, Stellenbosch.   • Design & Drafting: Create precise 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks for conveyor systems, machinery, and steel structures.
  • Costing & Planning: Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOMs; collaborate with teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, coordinating with internal departments to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise directly with clients, present designs, and ensure clear, professional communication throughout.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards and internal benchmarks-accuracy is non-negotiable.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
  • 3-5 years' engineering experience
  • 3+ years' SolidWorks proficiency
  • Strong client liaison skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to manage project scope based on experience
