Our client is a growing Wholesale Distribution Company who supplies to the Hardware and Plumbing industry and they are looking to expand their sales team. We are on the hunt for a Sales Representative who has a background selling to the hardware and building industry and is familiar with hardware and plumbing products.Successful candidates would be responsible for:· Identifying and acquiring new customers, expanding our customer base, and maintaining a working relationship with our existing customers to ensure that they receive exceptional service.
· Promoting and selling new product lines to both new and existing customers.
· Submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Sales Manager, along with action plans and schedules to support growth plans and strategies.
· Fostering and nurturing long-term business relationships within the industry, ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction.
· Developing a comprehensive understanding of our complete product range.Requirements· Must have experience calling into the hardware and plumbing retailers.
· Solid sales track record
· Industry knowledge and leads will be an advantage
· Must be willing to travel
· Must be willing to sleep out on country trips
· Excellent negotiation skills
· Ability to meet sales targets
· Own reliable transport & Valid Code 8 Drivers License.
· Own reliable electronic device ( cell phone, tablet with reliable network and data)
· Computer literacy.
· Ability to work independently.
· Physically and mentally fitArea to be covered is Cape Town - West Coast, N1 West and North towards Worcester.Benefits
