A renowned Transportation, Logistics, and Refrigeration company is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Brackenfell, Cape Town. Very good compensation package on offer plus internal career advancements opportunities (subject to background and experience).Position Requirements:• 3 - 5 years relevant financial accounting experience.• Completion of relevant financial courses would be an added advantage.• Working knowledge and experience on Pastel / IQ.• Proficient on MS Office, especially Excel and Word.• Strong attention to detail, organised, disciplined and ability to multi task.• Team player who can also work independently.Key Performance Areas:• Bookkeeping to Trial Balance.• Processing / capturing all creditors invoices in IQ (Pastel), keeping records of invoices as well as reviewing and processing reimbursements.• Maintaining accounting controls and procedures. • Filing and organizing all financial documents.• Processing all Bank statements and monthly reconciliations.• Processing all EFT payments. • Controlling and reconciling all Petty Cash Boxes.• Budgeting:- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.- Manage current expenses within budgetary requirements and forecastbudgetary needs for the current year.• Assisting with preparation for and completion of the Annual Audit.• Performing ad hoc admin duties as required.• Maintaining weekly cashflows of all entities• Reconciliations of all allowances and loans paid to employees• Intercompany invoicing and payment reconciliations• Preparation and reconciliation of VAT • Submission of VAT201, EMP201 and supporting documentation on SARS efiling• Debtors invoicing and collection of entitiesIf interested please email your CV to: jane@hrtalentpartner.co.za and jane.hrtalentpartner@gmail.com
