Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Lodge Manager to oversee the operations of two luxury lodges located on the same property. This role requires a dynamic leader with exceptional organisational skills, strong people management abilities, and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of both lodges, ensuring consistent standards and seamless service delivery.Lead, train, and motivate multi-disciplinary teams, including front-of-house, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and field staff.Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and personalised service.Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficiency and compliance.Manage budgets, cost controls, and stock management across both lodges.Liaise with the reservations and sales teams to optimise occupancy and revenue.Oversee property maintenance and presentation to ensure the lodges remain in pristine condition.Drive staff development and training initiatives to build a high-performance culture.Coordinate and manage lodge events, special functions, and VIP guest experiences.Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' lodge or luxury hospitality management experience, preferably with multi-property oversight.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen with proven experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Ability to work in a remote bush environment with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Hands-on management style with a keen eye for detail.
  • Computer literate (MS Office, lodge management systems).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
