Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced General Engineering Superintendent to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage both mechanical and electrical functions.
- Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Lead energy management and conservation initiatives.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce safety standards and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Manage engineering maintenance planning and scheduling (asset management).
- Oversee spare parts and sub-assembly management.
- Prepare, monitor, and control engineering budgets and costs.
- Foster effective working relationships with other departments.
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Valid Trade Test (Electrical or Mechanical)
- 5 years' experience within the mining industry.
- 2-3 years' experience on a supervisory level.
- Valid Driver's License
- R800K - R900K P/A
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
