Our client has an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a financial background. They're currently seeking an Accountant for their company in the Railway sector.Job Responsibilities: * Routine financial management: Accounting records, audit and filing of expense documents, daily fund receipt and payment, regular reconciliation with headquarters and external accounting institutions, and ensuring accurate and timely reports and tax declarations; The collection and sorting of accounting files and materials to ensure the integrity, effectiveness and safety of accounting files, and connect with external and internal accounts.

Carry out daily invoice issuance, receipt, accounting and registration as per the company's invoice management system.
Be responsible for daily bank-related affairs, ensure the timely receipt and payment of funds and assist in the preparation and declaration of cross-border fund payment materials.
Responsible for docking with audit firms to complete the local financial annual audit in South Africa.
Assist the Manager in the financial deployment and operation of South Africa in accordance with the rules of the Group
Establish local financial management processes and systems.
Responsible for cost control and analysis, providing financial advice and decision support.
Responsible for project accounting, follow up the difference in project implementation costs, and carry out project budget management and cost control.
Monitor the status of budget implementation, maintain good communication with business departments and provide risk warnings in a timely manner.

Job Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics or Accounting

Proficient in tax law and various tax policies in South Africa (South Africa VAT, E-filing, import and export and other related policies and procedures)
Good communication and interpersonal skills, organization, coordination skills and ability to bear pressure.
Familiarity with Customs VAT.
