iOCO is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and enhancement of a modern, cloud-based Data Warehouse. This strategic initiative will enable data-driven decision-making, automation, and self-service analytics across the organisation.As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in consolidating financial systems and operational data into a centralised repository, ensuring high data quality, and driving the broader data strategy.Skills and ExperienceWhat you'll do:

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data models.
Lead the migration of data infrastructure to a cloud-based environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs.
Implement data quality frameworks and metadata management.
Support automation of reporting and analytics processes.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data professionals.

Your expertise:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern ETL tools.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS; Fabric experience preferred).
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and metadata management.

Skills:

Experience in the public sector or with financial systems.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
