RPO Recruitment's client, a leading manufacturing company, is offering an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Design Intern to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about design and looking to gain practical experience in the manufacturing industry. As an Industrial Design Intern, you will work closely with experienced designers and engineers on various projects, assisting with the development and implementation of innovative design solutions.Responsibilities

Support the design team in creating and developing product concepts and prototypes
Assist in conducting market and user research to gather insights for design projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality
Assist in creating detailed design documentation, including sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
Assist in generating and evaluating prototypes to assess design performance and usability
Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design or a related field
Strong passion for design and eagerness to learn and develop new skills
Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Previous internship or design experience is a plus
