We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our fleet operations on a national level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, logistics, and transportation, with demonstrated success in optimizing fleet performance and reducing operating costs.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national fleet management strategies that align with business goals and objectives
- Manage and oversee all aspects of fleet operations, including maintenance, scheduling, fuel management, and compliance
- Monitor fleet performance and utilization, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee the procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal departments
- Analyze data and metrics to track fleet performance and make data-driven decisions
- Manage a team of fleet supervisors and technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and support
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on fleet performance, KPIs, and budgetQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in fleet management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in fleet management software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
