Machine Maintenance Electrician

- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Replace and repair faulty wiring, motors, sensors, and other components to minimize downtime.
- Install and commission new equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports of work carried out.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions and improve machine performance.
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Trade Test Certificate as an Electrician (essential).
- Proven experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC fault finding, and basic mechanical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Sound troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented approach.
- Team player with strong communication abilities.
