DESCRIPTION:The core purpose of this role is to provide executive leadership and direction. The TEO will work closely with the Board of Trustees to develop and implement strategies, maintain budget, grow investments, manage stakeholders and service providers towards servicing the beneficiaries with impact and risk management.KEY RESULT AREAS:Provide leadership with a clear vision, and purpose for the Trust.Ensure Strategy & Operational Plan development and implementation to achieve approved goals.Provide strong financial leadership, management, accountability and transparency.Ensure management of risk appertite, mitigation and tolerance.Ensure a clear communication and marketing strategy that builds a positive brand.Develop collaboration strategies to identify strategic partnersEstablish strong trusted stakeholder relationships that can be leveraged to help deliver results.Provide leadership and management to the staff of the trustEnsure robust implementation of Trust policiesOversee the implementation of community programmesCoordinate and lead budget reviews in line with the Operational PlanAttend to any tasks delegated by the Board.CANDIDATE PROFILETertiary degree or diploma in Community Development or Business Management or related (Post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage).At least 7 years in an executive leadership role within operations, managing at least 10 people.Strong strategic capability.Proven ability in achieving organisational goals.Demonstrate high level of Interpersonal Skills and Stakeholder Management.Experience in working with or for an NPO.Knowledge and Interpretation of Financials and Finance Forecasting.Experience or knowledge in Risk Management Framework.Experience or knowledge in managing the media.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Commitment to continuous development of staff team members.Strong EQ (Emotional Intelligence) driven by Ethics and Values.Good written and verbal communication skills.Renewable energy knowledge will be an added advantage.Must have a valid drivers licence and own roadworthy vehicle.To apply send your CV (full personal, working, education details) with three (3) referees having reported to two (2) of them.
