Automation Technician (Agricultural)

West Coast Personnel

Requirements:

Must be willing to travel frequently for several days at a time.
National diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics. Preferably Electrical Light Current or similar
Drivers License
3-5 years relevant experience
Experience and knowledge on Variable Speed Drives, Computer systems, wiring (light current), electronics
Knowledge of Hydraulics and flow dynamics
High level of accuracy, time management and standard of work
Must be a team player and be able to operate independently.

Responsibilities:

Technical support on Automation and Fertigation products
Drawings and designs of control panels and projects
Assist on technical projects and sites as and when needed
Installation, assembly and support of Automated Irrigation and dosing / fertigation units and systems in the field
Assembly of cabinets and controllers with protection and electrical devices in the production environment
Range of Radio, IOT control products and controllers from the company
Testing of equipment Hardware and software
Wiring, lay out and planning of cabinets and panels
Troubleshoot Controller hardware and software as well as radio systems infield on site
Telephonic as well as on-site support to dealers and end users
Training of dealers and end users on the product range

Maintenance, repair and support on filters and filter banks
