Job Description:Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Cape Town (Hybrid available)We're a UK-based marketing agency with teams in the UK and South Africa, looking for a sharp, proactive Account Manager to join our Cape Town office. You'll lead and manage multi-channel projects across media, creative, content, and SEO, owning the detail, driving performance, and ensuring delivery is seamless.You'll be the go-to contact for key clients, building strong relationships, understanding their goals, and ensuring projects and campaigns exceed expectations. From media planning and creative execution to reporting and optimisation, you'll ensure everything runs on time, on brief, and on budget. You'll also collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth coordination and high-quality output.What You'll DoClient & Project OwnershipLead day-to-day client communication, responding to emails and requests with clarity and care
Translate client objectives into actionable briefs for internal teams across media, SEO, content, and creative
Coordinate project timelines, track status, and keep delivery plans up to date using Leap (our internal PM system)
Prepare for and lead client status calls and WIPs, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and informedCampaign & Media Coordination
Brief the media team on campaign requirements and timelines, ensuring media planning aligns with client goals
Liaise with media owners to confirm availability, negotiate rates, and secure bookings
Track live campaigns to ensure delivery as planned, flagging any discrepancies or delivery issues
Support campaign reconciliation and budget management, including helping track media spend and preparing wrap reportsDocumentation & Reporting
Build clear, client-friendly decks: timelines, campaign plans, performance summaries, and wrap-up reports
Work closely with performance, media, and SEO teams to gather results and insights post-campaign
Support reporting cycles with meaningful commentary, identifying trends, learnings, and optimisation opportunitiesInternal Collaboration & Delivery ExcellencePartner with internal teams to manage deliverables, approvals, and feedback loops
Flag potential risks early, suggest solutions, and manage expectations proactively
Attend internal planning and sprint meetings to ensure accurate resourcing and prioritisation
Help maintain delivery quality across all outputs, ensuring work meets client expectations and agency standardsWhat You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in a media, creative, or digital agency in an account management or project leadership role
A proven track record of delivering multi-channel campaigns and managing client relationships end-to-end
Excellent attention to detail and a delivery-focused, proactive mindset
Strong communication skills-clear, confident, and calm under pressure
Confidence in working independently while collaborating with multiple departments
A solutions-first, team-oriented attitude and a desire to produce great work
A growth mindset and interest in continuously learning across media, tech, and creativity
