This role is perfect for someone with strong research skills who enjoys detective work and can uncover hard-to-find business information.What You’ll DoPrimary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on global business entities provided by management
  • Gather comprehensive contact and business information for companies that may not have an online presence
  • Utilize various research methods and platforms to locate key decision-makers
  • Compile accurate and up-to-date company profiles and contact databases
  • Verify information accuracy and maintain data quality standards
Specific Information to Research:
  • Company websites (where available)
  • Physical business addresses
  • Key contact persons (owners, directors, decision-makers) with focus on procurement roles
  • Telephone numbers (office and mobile)
  • Company email addresses
  • Individual official email addresses of key contacts
  • Social media profiles and relevant business intelligence
  • Additional company background information as available
The Ideal CandidateEssential Requirements:
  • South African resident
  • Proven experience in business research, data mining, or similar investigative work
  • Advanced internet research skills and familiarity with various search techniques
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms for business intelligence
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent English communication skills (written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in B2B research or lead generation
  • Familiarity with international business directories and databases
  • Understanding of steel industry or manufacturing sector (advantageous)
  • Experience with sourcing CRM systems or database management
  • Knowledge of business verification methods

The DetailsContract Terms:
  • 3-month fixed-term contract with possibility of extension based on performance

Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly rate: ZAR 120-150 per hour
