Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Assist in and compile quotes for installations, that includes: tenders, projects, small installations, system modifications and upgrades.
2. Email quotes to clients and or submit tender documentation.
3. Follow up on the approval of quotes.
4. Obtain quotes from suppliers.
5. Contact clients and consultants to setup introduction/sales appointments for the sales team.
6. Load leads on the eWorks system.
7. Load new Projects and Jobs on the eWorks system.
8. Inform Admin of any new client that need to be loaded on our systems.
9. Schedule all installations as efficient and cost effective as possible.
10. Inform the client of work to be done, delays experienced or issues on site.
11. Order the required equipment for the installation and plan the availability of the equipment to the installation timeline.
12. Arrange for the collection of the equipment and if required the delivery to a site.
13. Get feedback from the installers daily on their progress and amend the installation schedule accordingly.
14. Keep the installation within quoted budget and timeline.
15. Once the installation is completed, arrange for the commissioning of the system.
16. The service department needs to be informed about a new service or additional time required due to modifications done.
17. The following documentation needs to be prepared on the completion of an installation.
  • Job Card
  • Installation Checklist
  • Panel Download
  • Installation, Commissioning, Acceptance/Training and or Modification Certificate
  • Zone and As-Fit drawings
  • Final Costings
  • Operational Manual and Handover Documentation
18. Draft the deposit invoice, if and when required, as well as the final invoice and issue such to the accounts department with all the required supporting documentation and information.
19. Be the contact person for all installation between the client, technicians, technical supervisors, support and company management.
20. All communication with respect to an installation will be done via the installation coordinator.
