We are currently seeking a qualified Generator Mobile Technician to join our team in Mobile, The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of generator units in the field. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on generator units
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and fuel system issues on generators
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and proceduresQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing and repairing generators
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditionsPreferred qualifications:
- Certification from a technical school or equivalent experience in generator repair
- Familiarity with different brands and models of generators
- Knowledge of diesel engines and power generation systems
