this opportunity will allow you to turn your skills and passions into an exciting and fulfilling full-time role.In the role of Senior Travel Consultant - Inbound Groups, you will play a crucial role in understanding and fulfilling our customers' needs by designing, proposing, and securing large, high-value, or complex group travel arrangements.As a Senior Travel Consultant - Inbound Groups, you will:
  • Design and prepare innovative and competitive group travel proposals for our customers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to produce customized, curated itineraries and proposals.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Group Operations teams to convert opportunities into successful bookings.
  • Ensure that every confirmed proposal is handed over to Group Operations efficiently and promptly.
  • Stay updated with market trends to bring fresh, creative ideas to our proposals.

  • Extensive Experience: Proven experience in inbound group travel proposals (minimum of 5 years).
  • In-depth Knowledge of Southern Africa: Strong familiarity with destinations, travel products, and services in South and Southern Africa is essential.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Necessary for effectively interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favourable rates and services, with strong influencing skills.
  • Organizational Skills: A strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage high volumes of requests, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented: Remarkable attention to detail is crucial for creating accurate proposals, itineraries, and quality control.
  • Proactive: Innovation and the ability to identify opportunities and resolve challenges.
