Matric (advantageous)
Experience in the same or similar position in a luxury hotel (advantageous)

Duties and responsibilities

Maintain public areas around property, cleaning of the pool, rooms, bathrooms and storerooms
Perform general maintenance as needed
Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies.
Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
Maintain hygiene standards and cleanliness of work areas, hotel premises and operating equipment
Maintain the cleanliness in the garden by sweeping trash and extracting dead plants.
Record and report maintenance issues
Follow up whether maintenance issues reported, had been resolved
Follow procedure for the use of chemicals and cleaning equipment to prevent damage
Assist with guest requests in order to ensure the greatest comfort and ease during their stay
Ensure guest requests are communicated to Management
Ensure all guest complaints and feedback is communicated to the Management
Respect guest requests for privacy, and keep Management informed on guest room status
Report any damaged and/or lost items
