  • Perform full-spectrum testing (manual and automated) across UI, APIs, and integrated systems.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and regression test suites.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams to define test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the refinement of user stories, ensuring they meet testability standards.
  • Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements through robust QA practices.
  • Conduct testing of big data sets and validate output accuracy.
  • Provide test coverage visibility, defect metrics, and suggest QA process improvements.
  • Drive ownership of code quality and collective responsibility for testing in the team.
  • Champion best practices in test automation, defect prevention, and Agile QA culture.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Degree inBSc / Information Technology (preferred).
  • ISTQB/ISEB Certification(advantageous).
Experience:
  • 6+ years total in software testing, with 4+ years in automation.
  • 1+ year API testing experience.
  • Strong UI Test Automation scripting experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestNG, etc. (minimum 4 years combined).
  • Hands-on SQL skills and familiarity with data validation.
  • Business Process Automation and Agile methodology experience required.
  • Previous financial services or investment experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong exposure to a variety of testing tools, environments, and project types.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Skilled in end-to-end test automation and execution.
  • Solid understanding of API and UI testing frameworks.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Highly organised with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborative team player with a passion for quality and continuous learning.
