  • Implement strategic and operational plans to support store objectives.
  • Ensure merchandise availability through inventory oversight and supplier coordination.
  • Develop and apply pricing strategies and marketing initiatives based on market trends.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to drive performance improvements.
  • Maintain store security, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with regulations.
  • Schedule and manage store staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Compliance
  • Operate within established procedures and controls to ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Identify and monitor risks, maintaining relevant documentation and reporting concerns as needed.
  • Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness across the store.
Customer Service Management
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Represent the business in meetings with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.
Staff Supervision
  • Ensure performance contracts are in place and appraisals are conducted regularly.
  • Support team development through training and clear performance objectives.
  • Handle employee relations matters fairly and proactively.
Cost and Financial Control
  • Participate in budget planning and manage expenditure in line with approved budgets.
  • Monitor spending, identify areas for cost savings, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting procedures.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing (NQF 6)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing (NQF 7)
Experience: Required:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a retail sales or marketing environment, including 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Technical Competencies:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant business systems
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and financial processes
