Permanent Full-time Employment: Monthly Salary is negotiable based on relevant Team-Leader and Technical experience in the Fire Industry.Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Lay out, assemble and install various types and sizes of pipe systems
Commission and maintain Gas Suppression Systems and Sprinkler Systems
Fire stopping and Fire sealing
Read and interpret technical drawings
Ensure that the team complies with Health & Safety requirements on-site
To be a Team-Leader of 1 or multiple teams
Fully responsible for the teams’ vehicle, equipment & tools, stock, etc.
Be the liaison between client and project owners
Must be flexible and able to do other mechanical work as and when required

Requirements:

5-10 years’ experience in Fire Industry Sprinkler Systems Installations and Gas Suppression Systems Installations experience
5-10 years’ solid and proven Team-Leader experience
Extensive experience with pipe threading and roll grooving
Clear criminal record
Physically fit (medicals will be done for occupational certificate of fitness)
Sober habits (regular drug and alcohol tests will be done throughout employment)
Driver’s Licence compulsory
A valid South African ID
Must live within 20km of Cape Town International Airport at the time of applying for this job
