IT Systems Administrator

• Monitor and manage system backups and Evolution data synchronization.
• Setup and configure Sage Evolution databases, implementing necessary changes.
• Develop and distribute custom BIC Reports as required.
• Field and resolve systems-related queries, supporting all Month End procedure requirements.
• Ensure accurate and constant data flow (Regional and Local) with minimal system "Down days" and clean data maintenance.

• Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.
• Troubleshoot software issues promptly to ensure optimal system performance.
• Monitor system performance proactively to minimize downtime.

• Provide end-user support, resolving software and user-related issues.
• Set up, configure, and maintain user accounts, assisting in training employees on IT systems and tools.
• Achieve good end-user feedback and conduct effective training sessions.

• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Regularly test and update backup procedures for data integrity and conduct successful recoveries.
• Respond to data loss incidents, implement recovery processes, and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Monitor systems for security threats, taking preventive actions, and staying current with security best practices.

• Tertiary database administration qualification essential (e.g., SQL Server).
• Data analysis experience.
• Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Financial accounting knowledge advantageous.
• Strong Excel knowledge advantageous.
• Strong communication skills essential.
• Inquisitive nature to seek out, identify, and resolve issues.
• Ability to influence team members across the organization without direct authority.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
