Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately capture and maintain vehicle stock records on the dealership management system (e.g., Kerridge/Autoline, Drive, Evolve).
  • Process all new and used vehicle invoices and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Manage the internal movement of stock between branches or departments.
  • Ensure that vehicle stock, floorplan, and stockholding reports are up to date and accurate.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle stock takes and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Process vehicle registrations, licensing, and other related administration.
  • Liaise with OEMs, licensing authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Manage vehicle costings, including added accessories and pre-delivery expenses.
  • Maintain up-to-date filing systems for vehicles and related documentation.
  • Assist sales and management teams with vehicle stock-related queries.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in vehicle stock control within the motor dealership industry.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle administration and licensing procedures.
  • Experience with dealer management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Autoline, Drive, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and processes.
  • Valid drivers licence and clear criminal record.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Trustworthy and reliable with a strong work ethic.
