KwaZulu Natal - South AfricaFinance Manager - La Lucia RidgeThis is an opportunity for a dynamic Finance Controller to take the lead in shaping financial performance, driving compliance, and enabling strategic decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with the FD and Exco, you will oversee financial management, reporting, and operations while developing a high-performing team and ensuring the business continues to grow with confidence.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate monthly financial results, management information, and reporting packs.
- Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, stock counts, and debtor/creditor performance.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, manage intercompany reconciliations, and oversee asset valuation.
- Provide financial insight to guide operational and strategic decision-making.
- Support projects, acquisitions, and ERP/system improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls, manage cash flow, statutory payments, and banking relationships.
- Oversee tax planning, statutory returns, and audit processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a capable finance team, fostering strong relationships across stakeholders.
- CA(SA) or CIMA
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing, chemical, or related sector.
- Strong background in financial analysis, costing, and minimum 2 years' in team management experience.
- ERP experience (SAP is essential).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
