You are proactive when it comes to preventative maintenance and can perform cost-effective mechanical repairs on trucks and trailers. You are also willing to attend to breakdowns when needed, ensuring our fleet stays on the road and our clients receive the professional service they expect.Your Areas of Responsibility

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs in line with service standards and within agreed timeframes
Accurately complete job cards and parts requisitions
Provide technical guidance to workshop staff when needed
Attend to breakdowns as required
Ensure compliance with OHS Act and SHEQ standards by promoting a safe, clean and well-organised work environment

Key Requirements

Qualified Diesel Mechanic
Work experience with Volvo trucks advantageous
General Auto Electrical Experience
Basic knowledge on Thermo King diesel cooling unit engines
Computer literate
Available for after-hours and weekend work
Code 8 Drivers License, Code 14 with PDP advantageous
