Mine Manager's certificate of competence
Mining Engineering Degree/B-Tech
At least 10 years' experience in underground mining
3-5 years in a managerial role in the mining industry
8 years of hard rock underground experience
Trackless mining experience
Good Project Management Expertise

Responsibilities:

Take all reasonable measures to ensure the health and safety of employees and proper discipline at the Mine
Take all reasonable measures to ensure that the provisions of the Mine Health and Safety Act, Minerals Act, and its Regulations are implemented and adhered to at
the Mine
Manage the day-to-day operation of the mine
Ensure allocation of equipment and manpower resources for execution of exploitation
Ensure that the work performed is in accordance with the prescribed mining plan
Ensure that the person performing the work has the required training and skills
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production measurements and results and initiate corrective action
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual mining reports for the operation
Effective budgetary management and cost control
Ensure Training and development of direct team
