Job Summary Job & Company Description:Our client is a well-established name in the transport and logistics sector, known for their reliability, efficiency, and ability to deliver tailored solutions across South Africa and beyond. With a growing fleet, strong customer partnerships, and an ambitious expansion roadmap, they are looking to strengthen their finance team with a Financial Accountant who can keep the numbers moving as smoothly as their operations, based in Johannesburg South. You will be at the heart of financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. You will work closely with management, providing the financial backbone that supports big decisions and keeps the wheels of the business turning.Duties include (not limited to)

Managing full financial accounting function (journals, reconciliations, month-end close)
Preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making
Overseeing cash flow, cost control, and variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements
Supporting audits and liaising with external stakeholders

Education:

Completed BCom Degree in a related field

Experience:

4+ years accounting experience required
Sage X3 experience beneficial
