Embedded FPGA Systems Development EngineerSomerset West, Cape TownResponsibilities:

Collaborate with system engineers to create system-level requirements, designs, implementations, and accompanying documentation
Collaborate with system engineers to devise system-level test cases, procedures, and oversee their execution and reporting
Create tools to enhance the system engineering processes
Engage with COTS suppliers, explore system design and architecture using COTS products, evaluate and prototype them
Possibility of on-site involvement in design, verification, and support, including interactions with clients and integrators
Manage a functional system integration facility for comprehensive system-level integration and testing
Play a major role in the generation of outputs for projects, including design, testing, documentation, production and verification artefacts

Minimum requirements and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (BSc Eng/BEng or equivalent)
2-5 years of relevant industry or postgraduate experience
