Key Responsibilities· Installation and Maintenance: Industrial electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in factories, plants, and other industrial facilities. This includes working with high-voltage systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.· Troubleshooting: They diagnose and resolve electrical issues, using appropriate testing devices to ensure systems function correctly.· Reading Blueprints: Electricians must read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to understand electrical layouts and systems.· Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.· Collaboration: Work with other team members, including engineers and maintenance staff, to coordinate repairs and ensure smooth operations.Required Skills and Qualifications· Education: Matric required, A degree in a related field preferred.· Extruding experience, a must· Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment is essential. Electricians should also be familiar with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.· Physical Demands: Excellent health, the job can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods.· Safety Awareness: Adherence to strict safety protocols is crucial, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.Salary Range
18 k – 25 k depending on experience
