Contact person for this position: Ronel BakkerWebsite:Job overviewMy client, a leading manufacturer of catering and baking equipment, is looking for a Machine Builder/Assembler to join their team in Bellville South, Cape Town.Key responsibilities– Assemble Gearboxes, Pulleys, Sprockets, Chains, Conveyors, Rollers, Bearing fitment.– Make use of all electrical hand tools (Drill, Grinder, Tap Machine) include normal spanners and hand tools.Required Skills and Knowledge

At least 5 years experience in a Factory environment and be able to work as a team with previous experience as a Machine Builder
N4 Mechanical
Qualified Fitter or Millwright Artisan
Own transport and be able to come/go to work when working overtime.
Sense of responsibility
Positive attitude and enthusiastic
Know all sorts of Fasteners, Bolts, Nuts, Screw, Rivet, Rivnuts, Tapping and Die Nut Cutting of Threads
Must be Healthy and Fit to climb up ladders, Stairs, Pedestals, Work at Heights.
Safety Conscious (Any previous safety course an advantage,)
Be able to use the following measuring equipment: Vernier, Angle Protractor, Squares, Spirit Levels and a Tape Measure.
Know the different types of Sheet Metal (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium)
Angle Iron, Tubing, Flat Bar, Channels, Sectional Material – Tig welding of thin stainless steel and mild steel parts
