RB 16201 - Project Manager (Solar PV) – Northern Cape

• Develop and implement execution plans to meet contractual requirements.
• Develop and implement resource plans to meet project requirements.
• Develop project procurement strategy and implement to ensure on time delivery of equipment and materials.
• Manage contractual administrative requirements like notices, letters, claims, etc.
• Manage budgets, compile cost reports, and monitor project costs.
• Ensure progress claims are submitted in line with payment milestone schedules.
• Handle variations, payments, and special evaluations.

• Ensure project is executed to the highest level of quality standards by planning, mobilizing and managing adequate resources.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met and all risks are identified, monitored and managed.

• An Engineering or Project Management Degree/Diploma

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management role within the Renewable Energy Sector (Solar PV)
• Solid contractual and commercial background
• Good knowledge of technical aspects of a PV facility
• Computer literate (MS Office) with knowledge of MS Project and Prima Vera
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Client-centric with excellent relationship-building skills
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
