Within the Girls’ College we strive to produce confident young women who are able to lead a life of conviction and purpose. The College’s Methodist focus offers our young women important guiding principles enabling of this life of purpose which is central to the Saints Honour Code, namely “Honour God, Honour others and Honour self”. The Girls’ College provides a safe, nurturing and inclusive community where young women are encouraged to explore, experiment and investigate.This is a part-time coaching position. The coach will be paid a fixed term contract according to their expertise and coaching level. The Girls’ College invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from January 2026. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this position.The requirements for this position are:
  • A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience
  • A high level of personal netball experience in school, university, and a club environment. Leadership experience is preferable
  • Be able to assist within the school’s Athletic Development and Physical Education Programme
  • Be well acquainted with the Microsoft and Google suite applications
  • A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering and building inclusiveness and diversity.
  • An awareness of and willingness to commit to the school’s all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach
  • Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate before employment can commence
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
The role will include the following: * Attend all Girls’ College team practices.
  • Attend tournaments and festivals for the Girls’ College over weekends.
  • Minimum Level 1 coaching
  • Umpire’s grading (recommended)
  • Netball knowledge and experience of schools /senior level coaching
