An established non-crop agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Regulatory and Product Development Officer to manage and control all aspects of trials and associated data, and to submit complete and accurate dossiers to the respective regulators for product registrations, including but not limited to Southern Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in related sciences
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a regulatory and or product development position
  • Must have an AVCASA qualification or equivalent industry-recognized accreditation
  • Proven ability to write scientific protocols and technical documentation
  • Solid understanding of the trial and dossier submission process
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a well-structured workspace
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams and coordinating with external service providers
  • Physically fit and able to conduct site visits, including walking through farming fields
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel when required
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Establishing protocols for trials.
  • Managing trialists and trial data inputs.
  • Liaising with trialists and receiving regular updates on ongoing trials.
  • Collating and verifying the validity of trial data.
  • Managing residue and soil samples and overseeing testing processes.
  • Managing trial samples and ensuring trialists have sufficient product to conduct trials.
  • Controlling costs across all aspects, from trials to dossier submission.
  • Submitting all relevant data in the appropriate and required format to ensure successful product approval.
