Metallurgist

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years’ experience in extractive metallurgy, preferably in gold/base metal processing.
• Proven track record in metallurgical test work design, execution, and analysis.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills between lab and operations.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

• Act as the main technical link between the Client and the mine’s processing/operations teams.
• Review and confirm test work scopes, sampling plans, and methodologies.
• Oversee sample collection and preparation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor test work progress, ensuring data integrity and timely results.
• Analyse metallurgical data and prepare clear, actionable operational reports.
• Provide technical guidance to integrate findings into plant/process optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, and environmental standards.
