Be part of a team that’s reshaping South Africa’s energy landscape—one solar project at a time. From commercial rooftops to large-scale ground-mounted systems, your work will power schools, farms, malls, and communities with clean, reliable energy.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze foundations, steel structures, and mounting systems for solar projects.
  • Conduct structural calculations for wind and load resistance (especially for carports, trackers, and rooftops).
  • Visit project sites to perform inspections, surveys, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to bring solar projects from concept to completion.
  • Ensure that all work complies with SANS codes and relevant municipal/structural regulations.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (preferably with solar, structural, or steel-based projects).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and at least one structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or Robot).
  • Familiarity with civil standards, construction methods, and geotechnical fundamentals.
  • ECSA registration (or working toward it) is a strong plus.
  • Valid driver's license for site visits.
