We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive in Logistics to join our team. Will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and achieving sales targets for the logistics company. At least 5 years of experience in logistics salesPOSITION INFO:Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the
industry. * Maintain and grow existing customer accounts secured by the executive, through effective relationship management and customer service.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and promote the company.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Desired Experience & QualificationTechnical requirements:
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts
  • Matric
  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
  • Import/Export/Cross Trade Air/Sea knowledge
  • Previous experience with the Ship Shape system will be advantageous
  • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent knowledge of Incoterms and all major trade lanes into South Africa.
