Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Finance or Related Field
- 5 years’ experience as a Kronos Specialist
- Proven experience and expert knowledge in operating and managing Kronos time and attendance system.
- 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory and Management role
Experience in the Private Healthcare Industry
Certification in the Kronos system

- Implement, monitor, and control Kronos (time and attendance) processes according to quality
- Develop, align, mapping and implementation of end-to-end standard operating procedures and
- Provide analytics to management to enable informed decision making to optimise performance
- Provide management reports to all stakeholders as required
- Perform regular audits and analyse data to make recommendations.
- Provide guidance, awareness, training, and solutions to ensure accurate transfer of system
- Provide access to the Kronos system and update with valid data for payroll processing.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement activities and identify and manage operational risks.
- Establish Kronos access protocols and approval controls based on different functional roles.
- Audit and Review Kronos records for accuracy of hours worked, leave taken and accounts charged
- Audit and review each pay period to ensure compliance with all rules, policies, and legislative /
- Facilitate electronic extracts of Kronos payment information to ensure accurate and timeous
- Develop the framework for solution design.
- Provide oversight and management of user access and technical problem resolution through: -
timecard transactions and minimizing errors, resolving escalated queries related to time and
attendance from HR and Payroll and providing feedback to stakeholders to resolve rejected
timesheets
- Investigate and understand stakeholders’ needs to enable delivery of a quality service.
- Ensure relevant financial documentation (related to Payroll and within scope) is maintained to
- Comply with cost controls in order to achieve the section budget.
- Ensure monthly and weekly Payroll deadlines are met.
- Provide Supervision and management of performance outputs to the team.
- Research, collate and present business intelligence to feed into management decisions and support
