Salary: R60 000 – R65 000 CTC per month plus travel allowance and garage card
Reporting To: Projects and Contracts ManagerMain Purpose of the Role:The Senior Projects Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project orders from inception to final delivery. The role ensures that projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget, in alignment with technical and contractual specifications.Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret technical, commercial, and contractual project documents.Liaise directly with clients regarding electrical design requirements in collaboration with the internal engineering team.Manage invoicing milestones between the commercial department and clients.Ensure adherence to the Company’s terms and conditions or project-specific contractual terms.Maintain and control the document register and transmittal process (incoming & outgoing); utilize document control resources as needed.Create and maintain MS Project schedules and customer progress reports in conjunction with the PPC team.Organize and facilitate internal and external stakeholder meetings.Arrange and manage all logistics related to each project, including third-party inspections.Manage client FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) arrangements and related requirements.Collaborate with the Company’s QC team to ensure all quality expectations and testing requirements are met.Support site installation and commissioning teams during project execution.Attend client and site meetings as required.Support the Proposals team with technical and commercial inputs and participate in tender meetings when necessary.Provide design and technical engineering support when required by leadership.Ensure compliance with Company health and safety policies and ISO 9001 standards.Minimum Requirements:Education:Matric (Grade 12)Relevant post-matric technical qualification (B.Eng Electrical, B.Tech, or National Diploma)Experience:Minimum 5 years’ experience in an electrical manufacturing environmentMinimum 5 years’ project management experienceTechnical Skills:Strong computer literacy including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS ProjectsExperience with SAP is advantageousKnowledge of Incoterms is preferableOther Requirements:Valid driver's licenseStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
