The Design Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning jigs and fixtures to improve productivity and safety within production environments. This includes identifying suitable applications, conceptualising and designing solutions, conducting stress analysis, selecting appropriate materials, and producing manufacturing and installation drawings. Responsibilities extend to training production staff, compiling maintenance and calibration procedures, and investigating manufacturing problems to propose viable solutions.Minimum: National Diploma in Engineering2 - 3 Years of Design knowledge and experience within a manufacturing companyProficient in SolidWorksProficient in general computer skills (MS Office)SA Drivers license and own vehicle
