- Manage day-to-day lodge operations, ensuring smooth coordination across all departments.
- Deliver exceptional guest service while upholding luxury standards.
- Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the lodge infrastructure and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage maintenance staff and coordinate with external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate lodge staff to deliver excellence.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, and optimise resource utilisation.
- Manage procurement related to maintenance and operations.
- Maintain rigorous quality standards for both guest services and facility upkeep.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental protocols are adhered to.
- Matric; relevant technical or hospitality qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ General Management experience in luxury lodge or hospitality, with strong maintenance oversight.
- Hands-on knowledge of building systems, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Valid RSA ID, Driver’s Licence, and own transport.
