Network & Cable Technician

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, access points & wireless links.
• Install and configure CCTV cameras and systems.
• Install and terminate network cables, including Ethernet & fiber optics.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform repairs as necessary.
• Conduct site surveys to assess networking and cabling requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement customized network solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support to clients and colleagues as needed.

• Comprehensive understanding of fiber optic cable installations, including termination and testing proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Netgear, and Ubiquiti.
• Proven experience in installing & configuring CCTV cameras & systems.
• Proven experience in installing and terminating various types of network cables.
• Familiarity with cable testing and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certification such as CompTIA Network+ or equivalent is a plus.
