Job Summary Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Matric Certificate (essential)
  • Diploma or Certificate in Marketing/Sales (advantageous)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in external sales
  • Valid Code 08 Driver’s License
  • Industry knowledge in material handling (advantageous)
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Applicants must currently reside in Cape Town and be well networked in the region

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to:
  • Establish and grow brand presence through strategic networking and market engagement
  • Develop and nurture client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively expand the client base
  • Conduct regular client visits to assess needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction
  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly reports on sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward targets
  • Generate accurate and timely quotations, tailored to client requirements
  • Resolve payment-related queries efficiently while maintaining positive client relations
  • Participate in weekly sales strategy calls and branch meetings to align with team goals and share insights
  • Support operational functions as needed to ensure seamless business processes
  • Execute telesales campaigns and follow up on leads to convert prospects into clients
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that clearly communicate product/service value
  • Conduct client surveys to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement in service delivery
