Company: Accounting firmA dynamic and expanding accounting firm in Pretoria is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their finance team.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-changing financial and tax environment and is passionate about accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.Handle accounts receivable and payable, including client invoicing, supplier invoice processing, payment management, and debtor follow-ups.Accurately capture transactions in accounting software (Pastel, Sage, or Xero) and maintain well-organised financial records.Manage payroll and general ledger entries.Prepare and maintain financial reports.Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes efficiently and on time.Assist with VAT preparation, including gathering supporting documentation and compiling draft VAT reports for review.Oversee petty cash transactions, balancing and reconciling regularly.Provide support to the Finance Manager and senior staff as required.Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years’ experience in accounting and tax.Experience with draftworx is advantageousValid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.If you are detail-oriented, organised, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team, we’d like to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV to info@pro-match.co.za.
