Food & Beverage Operations Manager

• Ensuring that the work environment is safe by following all local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety.
• Monitoring the quality of food products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees in conjunction with human resources staff.
• Developing a budget for food and beverage operations, including labour costs, equipment purchases, and supplies required to run the department effectively.
• Establishing and enforcing rules regarding employee conduct and workplace safety procedures to ensure the safety of all staff members.
• Monitoring inventory levels of food products to ensure they are consistent with sales trends over time.
• Analysing customer data to determine preferences and purchasing patterns so that new products can be added to the menu or existing products can be discontinued if they are not selling well.

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality (advantageous)
• 3 - 5 years Food and Beverage experience at a 4 or 5 star property.
• A good understanding of Micros POS System.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Additional Foreign language (advantageous)

• Up to R30 000 CTC per month (dependant on experience)
