Legal Specialist - Mining

• Research and analyze legal issues and provide guidance and recommendations to the legal department.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts and government agencies.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on various legal matters.
• Review and track legal invoices and expenses.
• Support the legal department in conducting legal research and analysis.
• Assist in managing the organization's compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
• Maintain and organize legal files and documents.

• Grade 12
• LLB Degree
• 5 years experience working as a Legal Specialist within the mining industry.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Knowledge in Management of NEC, FIDIC, JBCC, and similar types of forms of contracts.
• Understanding BBBEEE Act, Mining Charter 2018, Mine Health & Safety Act, MPRDA.
